what do you do when everything you have been making art about for years seems... simply uninteresting to you anymore, too isolated, too insular, too lonely. How do you find your way to what is next?
wow, that is put so perfectly. But I suppose if the reason one has no voice is out of happiness one should be grateful. But it still feels so unsettling yes?
We shouldn't expect to stay the same, to be the same person we started out as, so therefore our work won't necessarily be the same. Just keep making *something* and eventually the path will be revealed. Think of a garden laying fallow in the winter season and in the spring you can plant new seeds. Think of evolution, which is an even slower process. Don't despair!

Dear Joetta, I wish I knew. My work was always based on personal angst, and now I'm so happy I have no voice.
