

comforts... I learned to knit in order to make this piece. And it was probably the piece that I was most happy with. I would not change a thing about it except keep making it...
It is about 8 ft long and 5 ft tall...so pretty big...
All the text is meant to imply another body or being, as if the "scarf" can act as a substitute for "another".
This definitely came out of... how much I missed the body of my husband, his physicality his warmth, his presence, me being away in Massachusetts and him in NYC.
However, I tried to keep the language ambiguous so that it is not read as sexual...
what do you think?
