I am loving the play of soft hard in the gorgeous sculptures of Debra Baxter.
Most of her works are quartz and alabaster and they are all gorgeous.

Hey, I just saw her opening at Platform Gallery in Seattle. Beautiful work! I was especially drawn to that piece with the pyrite.
oh, i am jealous it looks like it would be gorgeous. i always love the contrast of hard and soft.
