I was at a lecture at the Drawing Canter last night and found out about the perfect "group" for me.
The Textile study group of New York has events, lectures, and shows all focused around what else but textiles in NY!!

I can't wait to apply and become a member... the past lectures look great and they also discuss each others work and I have to say being out of grad school...I would love a critique/discussion...I miss it.

And I definitely will have to spend some time checking out their artist members...the works looks very interesting. Expect to have some features from here in the near future.
