I am so delighted by the work pf Sophie Cuvelier...
anything that results in rows and strings of something generally makes my heart a flutter.
Her work is just simply lovely and brings up so many connotations:
party garlands...
laundry lines...
flags...
prayer flags...
necklaces...
water...
Really lovely work, though her website is a bit overwhelming.
I especially like that as you look at her installation shots you see how she is responding to the environment that she installs in and she works with unique spaces...
I would love to read her interview, but alas i need to brush up on my french....
