Some images from my open studio last weekend. It was quite nice to put up a lot of my newer and larger text based works. Seeing them all together on a wall was quite powerful and I would love to see them that way on a gallery wall someday!

The way the individual words stand on their own and at the same time have conversations is really working for me.

I just hope I can successfully get these clothes lines to stand- since I cannot dig deep at all?

Hello little yellow bird! I subscribed to your blog months ago but this is the first time ive actually said hello; Hello! Just wanted to say I love your work and the open studio pictures look stunning. I wish i could have visited!
This looks great! I agree that they are having their own conversations. These all look great together, and I love the way you have threads connecting some of them to others. I really can't wait to see your "line" piece finished.
About the actual clothesline, how deep can you dig? I wonder if you could brace each post with one or two smaller metal supports that can just be hammered into the ground. The holes would be a lot smaller...
hannah- welcome and i am delighted you said hi! and thank you for your sweet words.
B- I have a rebar on the bottom of te wood that goes 8 in. deep. and am staking it on 4 sides. So hopefully that will be good enough-but I am so nervous.
Sounds like it should hold pretty well!
I hope....
Looks AWESOME.
Thanks so much Zack- i appreciate it:)
