late but as promised.

Some images from my open studio last weekend. It was quite nice to put up a lot of my newer and larger text based works. Seeing them all together on a wall was quite powerful and I would love to see them that way on a gallery wall someday!

The way the individual words stand on their own and at the same time have conversations is really working for me.

This piece was made for line... and came out really well - the combination of the color, the word, and the splayed nature of the apron got a lot of attention from folks. Many of the pieces that I have made for line have come out surprisingly well. Some of them I just plain love and am excited to get them out to galleries and up in the shop after next week.

I just hope I can successfully get these clothes lines to stand- since I cannot dig deep at all?

This looks great! I agree that they are having their own conversations. These all look great together, and I love the way you have threads connecting some of them to others. I really can't wait to see your "line" piece finished.

About the actual clothesline, how deep can you dig? I wonder if you could brace each post with one or two smaller metal supports that can just be hammered into the ground. The holes would be a lot smaller...

hannah- welcome and i am delighted you said hi! and thank you for your sweet words.

B- I have a rebar on the bottom of te wood that goes 8 in. deep. and am staking it on 4 sides. So hopefully that will be good enough-but I am so nervous.
