I am meeting up with the Spansih artist, Manuel Cardero, today. He contacted me to meet while he was in NYC, which I love when other artists do. I was surprised by his interest in my work since his work is so minimal and obviously very conceptually driven.
Though my work is very conceptually considered and built I never think it is considered that way since it is also so narrative. So I look forward to chatting with him and talking, should be interesting.
I love Manual's use of whites, multiples, and unexpected materials.
