hot yarn in the summertime.
I wish there was some breeze in the air...it would cool my apt and studio oh so nice.
But alas no luck.
I am working with this very hot piece and burlap to prepare it for showing here.
I should have done this while it was cool last month.
And I must, must find some time to revamp the bird, my website, and update etsy with some new goodies.

oh boy yarn yarn in the summer heat?! eeep.
it looks awesome!
from one crocheter to another... condolances. that hot, thick pile of twisted yarn on the lap definitely puts a damper on the joys making. is art supposed to make a person sweaty? hmmmmmmm.
still can't wait to see it though! :)
sounds like an air conditioner could turn out to be a legitimate business expense?
just as it seemed heat was never ending it cooled off for me...mother nature must of known I was working with a giant blanket of wool yarn. Or I just got lucky:)
It's been kind of nice for me to take a small summer break from reading all of my blogs, but really... what was I thinking? Just going over all of your posts that I missed has been amazingly inspiring, and a little sad, in that I missed them all! I guess you don't know what you have till it's gone. Well, I've missed this space and am putting it in the number one spot in my reader! Thanks, Joetta, for always having such wonderful commentary and sharing the work of such amazing artists, including yourself.
Is this the only image of "Line" that you have up? I've been dying to see it, even in my absence.
i noticed your name missing from my comments. I totally understand- I myself have had to take blog breaks before. Sometimes you need to focus that time elsewhere.
But I am delighted your back and inspired by what has been going on over here.
as always i have been a busy little bird.
these 3 posts show line... - let me know what you think?
