My mom recently sent me this quote by an artist who paints portraits of fallen soldiers . Unfortunately she did not tell me the artist's name so all I can share are her wonderful words.
Spoken during a lecture to a group of art students she said:
"You are the voice of the secret parts of our hearts...the joy and love and pain that cannot be said in words."
Exactly what an artist should and can be.
