love.

If you want to be touched, wipe sweet and sad tears from your face, and reminded how precious this wonderful thing called life is visit the incredibly beautiful online journal, Days with my Father.

Photographer Phillip Toledano documents the last few years of love and life of his 98 year old father through moving photographs and words. He tells stories both to entertain and protect his father in his last moments- The most touching being that his mother is in Paris running a famous Flea Circus instead of already gone.

The way that Phillip captures the complexity of a 98 year old man with 98 years of life within him is astoundingly beautiful and truly inspirational.

His many other body of works are quite impressive as well, I particularly like the series Bankrupt.

For those of us who've cared for our older parents these photos have captured the pain and the love we feel...thanks for posting this.

I am so glad that you all were moved as much as me. The love and loss exhibited is so humanly wonderful.
I highly recommend checking out this beautiful book if you were touched by this project.
