Here are some close ups if the preliminary drawings for my next 2 embroideries for the sleeping series. I am a day or two away from finishing this one...and am very happy with how it is turning out.
What is it about sleeping and the bed that I am so drawn to? I have theories and answers to the question. But I wonder- what is it really?
The bed is such a powerful place- the place we are born, the place that we love the deepest, and for most of us the place we die.
We live many of most important moments in a bed.
Sunday mornings-
Birthday Breakfasts-
Late night laughs-
All day cry's-
I am no longer in the bed and instead up and going-
Off to shop for more linens.
