Because of all the great and inspiring images I am finding in blog world, including the above images from Lala of my lala land. I bought a polaroid yesterday and am so excited to start using it, I have been wanting one for a while and finally did it!
I have taken my first pics and am excited to share them this coming week,
once I have my "doo-hickey" again.
And my first mini "series" is going to be documenting my bed everyday.
And if I talk about photographs of beds... I cannot go with out mentioning my all time favorite artist, the amazing Sophie Calle...and her fascinating project Sleepers. If you do not know this project, Sophie invited people to sleep in her bed and documented their experience, through text and photograph. Oh Sophie we love you !!!!!!

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but as of last friday (the date of this blog) Polaroid stopped making their instant "polaroid" film. I suggest stocking up now before it's too hard to come by. Good luck with your endeavors! - Laura B.
i know about the lack of polaroid film, i have been aware of the demise for many years, as i use to shoot large format polaroid exclusively. is is sad and i am in denial
